Project Manager - Gift Aid

The Ramblers is undergoing an exciting time of transformational change - and the Membership and Fundraising team is at the centre of the action!  At the heart of the Ramblers lies our wonderful community of over 100,000 members, enabling us to fulfil our mission across the length and breadth of Great Britain.  We have an incredibly loyal base of members, but we cannot afford to stand still.  If we are to thrive, grow and remain relevant in a changing landscape, we need to evolve and connect with more of the UK’s 9 million walkers.  Are you up for the challenge?

 

We are looking for a Gift Aid project manager. This role is based within the Membership and Fundraising team, reporting to the Head of Membership, and working closely with our Finance team.

 

You will oversee a key strategic project for the Ramblers, ensuring that our Gift Aid procedures operate in a more efficient and effective manner, whilst also maximising this vital form of income.  Gift Aid income is vital to the Ramblers, and this is a really exciting opportunity to make your mark.

Essential Requirements:

  •   A high standard of organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  •   Proven project management and delivery experience (minimum 3 years)
  •   Experience in Gift Aid procedures and processes.
  •    Innovative and solutions-focussed with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

 

Desirables:

 

  •   Experience of Gift Aid audits.
  •   Interest in walking and/or being an advocate for the outdoors and natural environment.
  •   A sound understanding of different CRMs and process flows.
