Following the Kinder 80 celebrations on Tuesday 24 April, twelve current and former Ramblers staff and two honorary Ramblers took the train to the Peak District for a long weekend on and around Kinder Scout.
"We never need an excuse for a weekend of rambling, but we were particularly keen to go to Kinder Scout and follow in the footsteps of the trespassers” said Sarah Gardner, E-Communications Officer for the Ramblers.
“We all appreciate how far we have come since 1932 – and how much more we can achieve so that everyone can enjoy the freedom of moors, woodland and coast – so we voted with our feet and took to the hills to mark the 80th anniversary.”
