Our recommended walking holiday partner HF Holidays have been awarded two Guardian and Observer Travel Awards.
HF Holidays received the accolades 'best large tour operator' and 'best large short break operator' at the Guardian, Observer and guardian.co.uk Readers' Travel Awards 2012 held in Ghent earlier this month.
HF Holidays Head of Marketing and Development Laura Sims was presented with the awards by journalist and presenter Mariella Frostrup and Observer Editor John Mulholland (pictured right).
It is the third year running HF Holidays havw been named best large tour operator, beating the likes of Trailfinders and Virgin Holidays to the top spot. HF Holidays also retained the title of ‘best large short break operator’ for a second year.
“To win the prestigious 'best tour operator' award already twice before was an honour” said HF Holidays Chief Executive Brian Smith. “For the Guardian and Observer readers to put us as number one for a third year, and also vote for us as the 'best short break operator' is amazing.”
The awards were based on scores of 98% and 97.9% for customer satisfaction in each category respectively. “I believe it reflects the attention we give to our guests throughout their holiday, their enjoyment as well as quality and value for money we provide” added Brian.
HF Holidays offer Ramblers members £50 off their first holiday booking as well as exclusive holidays at country houses in the UK. They also donate £10 to the Ramblers every time a member books a holiday, helping us continue our charitable work.
