Step out and explore Wales on foot with your family this half term and have fun with the Big Welsh Walk. From a teddy bears picnic walk to an under the sea themed adventure there’s something for everyone to enjoy.To help you on your way we have created fun, free Scramblers activity sheets that you can download and take out on your ramble.


Not only is walking good exercise for all the family, it’s also a great way to tempt children away from the Xbox or TV. The Scramblers activity sheets are the perfect way to turn a normal walk around the park into a fun family adventure. Just print them out and away you go! You may even wish to join one of these themed walks over the half term break:


Scramblers Under the Sea Fancy Dress Adventure

Date: Saturday 23 May 2015

Start & Finish time: 11 am - 3pm
Distance: 3 miles
Description: Come along to an under the sea fancy dress adventure, suitable for all the family to enjoy. Explore our free walks around the beautiful Bosherston Lily Ponds, ending up on the beach. Don’t forget to wear your best under the sea outfits! There’s a prize for the best fancy dress and face painting will be available at the welcome point at Broad Haven South car.

Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Description: Children (and adults!) are invited to bring along their favourite teddy bear and a picnic for this lovely walk through a nature reserve on firm leafy paths. There will be teddy bear prizes up for grabs.
