Ramblers Cymru calls for the freedom to explore

In response to the Welsh Government’s consultation on improving access to the outdoors for recreation, Ramblers Cymru is calling for Welsh Government to be ambitious and introduce a ‘freedom to explore’, giving people access to all of Wales’ countryside and coastline.

Views sought on outdoor recreation in Wales

The Welsh Government has published the long awaited Green paper on improving opportunities to access the outdoors for responsible recreation. Ramblers Cymru will be taking a keen interest in the debates this will generate, and will be developing a strong response that stresses the importance of protecting our path network while building the vibrant walking culture we want to see in Wales.
