The Shropshire Young Ramblers undertake a wide variety of walks all over Shropshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Wales and even took on the 4,167m Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains and North Africa, in May.

Rambling pioneer recognised in Oxford Dictionary of National Biography

Born 160 years ago this month, the nineteenth century rambler Edmund Seyfang Taylor, who wrote walking guidebooks under the pseudonym “Walker Miles”, has found a place in the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
