TV presenters Matt Johnson and Fiona Phillips have visited remote parts of Wales to walk The Cambrian Way - a 298-mile route stretching the length of the country – and learned how dedicated volunteers are making sure the trail is clearly indicated for all to enjoy.

The First Minister will attend the Wales Coast Path’s new walking festival in the Vale of Glamorgan this weekend. The festival celebrates seven years of the iconic 870-mile path, with the aim of encouraging locals across Wales to get outdoors, meet new people and appreciate our beautiful Welsh landscapes.

A new guide book for the Cambrian Way which runs over 280 miles from Cardiff to Conwy will be launched today in Bute Park, Cardiff. The route is currently in the process of being waymarked by Ramblers Cymru to raise its profile and make it easier for walkers to follow.
