Get out and enjoy Wales in winter

Mountains in the Snow

From mince pie walks to the Sugar Loaf, Ramblers Cymru and Let’s Walk Cymru groups have some tasty treats for you in this year’s Festival of Winter Walks.

With over 70 walks right across Wales between 19th December and 3rd January, there’s sure to be a walk near you.

Ramblers groups are leading everything from leisurely strolls and family walks to more challenging hikes. If you’re new to walking, you could also try a walk with a Let’s Walk Cymru group. Or if you don’t want to join a group walk, find your own winter walk with Ramblers Routes, our online library of 3,000 routes.

Here’s a selection to whet your appetite – search for a walk near you then get outdoors and enjoy the beauty of our wintery Welsh landscapes as part of Britain’s biggest walking festival.
