Ramblers Cymru has called on the Welsh Government and Assembly Members to help build a walking future for Wales and make it the best country in the world for walkers. On 9th July Ramblers Cymru presented its manifesto to Welsh Government at the Senedd and seven year old Caitlin Brough, young walking ambassador, explained why walking is so important.

Ramblers Cymru director, Angela Charlton said, “We want to help Wales achieve its full potential for walkers, which is why we need the Welsh Government to take action.”

Russell George AM who hosted our launch today spoke of the important role Ramblers Cymru has in protecting the places we love to walk. He added, “The politicians of the Assembly should also strive to set up a long term strategy for the maintenance of the Wales Coast Path”.
