Members with a keen interest in Scottish access are invited to register for a free training event in Glasgow on Saturday 17 November, from 1.30-4.30pm in the Quaker Meeting House on Elmbank Crescent.
It'll be a great chance to consider the role of area and group access officers, discuss how Ramblers can best support Local Access Forums and explore how you could get more involved in access matters in future.
There’ll also be an opportunity to discuss the useful lessons that campaigners have learned from positive cases during the past year – including the high-profile access successes at the Drumlean and Penicuik estates.
Members are also welcome to raise their own local access issues, to gain support, tips and advice from fellow Ramblers campaigners.
Places are limited, so please register to attend ASAP by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
