Winter 2019

26 November 2019

The winter edition of walk is out now, with its usual mix of news, features and walk suggestions – and a particular focus on paths. In Picture of our Paths, we look at some of the challenges facing our path network and examine the collaborative ways our path maintenance volunteers are working. We enjoy a soul-stirring Big Walk along the Shropshire Way, which has been revived with the help of local Ramblers. We Walk & Talk with neuroscientist and navigation expert Kate Jeffreys, and head to Liechtenstein, Europe’s least visited country, to trial a brand-new trail through rippling mountain scenery.
