Walking is great in so many ways, our fantastic countryside is a joy to explore on foot, and an active lifestyle makes us all healthier and more productive. The scientific evidence for the positive benefits of walking for our mental health as well as our physical health and wellbeing is overwhelming. We work to promote walking to everyone, to make it easier for all to gain these benefits.
