Visit our facebook page here to see photos of walks and news. Also see our News and Walks Updates page on this website.

Our groups help local people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. Most groups organise regular walks led by local experts - a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness. You're very welcome to try walking with us, or to get involved in looking after paths and green spaces and opening up new places to explore.

Restormel Group Area is situated in the centre of Cornwall with superb coastal walks from Fowey to Portholland. Our diverse area also includes the Eden Project, Heligan Gardens, Nature Reserves and many Industrial Archaeological sites, all approachable on our inland footpaths.

Our walks are graded according to difficulty based on distance and terrain so that a suitable and enjoyable walk can usually be found for everyone either during the week or at a weekend. Good company is a constant feature of our walks but we can't guarantee the weather!

We also arrange an annual walking weekend around late August / early September open to members of all groups and enjoyed by everyone participating. See the News and Walk Updates page for news of this year's weekend which was in early September and was based on the North Devon coast at Lynton. Walks included the Valley of Rocks, Lorna Doone country and Watersmeet.

The photographs below were taken on a pre-walk reconnoitre and give a preview of some of the beautiful scenery to be enjoyed. More photos are on our Facebook page.
