Route Summary This part of eastern Cheshire is a landscape of ridges, crags and moorland. From tiny Kettleshulme village, head up to magnificent viewpoints before plunging into secluded Todd Brook Valley, with cute Jenkin Chapel and breeze-riffled haymeadows.

An enjoyable walk, but I think better for being taken in the anticlockwise direction, thereby keeping the best till last and finishing on a high. If memory serves me right, there weren't as many as 15 stiles- perhaps 7 or 8. The one at SJ 9861 7835 was partially blocked by wire (not barbed) but the decrepit gate and post nearby gave a do-able alternative.
