Route Summary This walk circuits the moors of upper Nidderdale, an AONB that buffers the Yorks. Dales National Park. Shooters' tracks wend above a lonely reservoir, visiting two of Yorkshire's most remote villages. It's a great area for wild birds and grand views.

I walked the lower trail on the NE side but the walk was over 11 miles and certainly not "leisurely". Views from Middlesmoor churchyard superb.
