Route Summary A circular walk from Chepstow, via Lancaut and Wintour’s Leap viewpoint on mainly woodland paths, some steep, narrow and crumbling, plus a short stretch of scree. Magnificent views, Norman castle and ruined 12th-century chapel in nature reserve.

Lovely walk although we followed a slightly longer way out so as not to repeat to much of the route. There had been a landslide which has been reported but other than that, the walk was very interesting and a nice distance.
