Route Summary A gentle, scenic walk taking you past Tennyson's former home. Make time to look inside the White Hart in Tetford (which also houses Tennyson’s Tea Room) to see the fine oak settle and famous Tennyson quotations adorning the walls.

The directions are easy to follow and accurate. Except for a few short sections the route is along bridlepaths or quiet, narrow roads. There is a seat at the top of Warden Hill, conveniently halfway round the walk. A good place for a break, but foliage will limit the view from the seat in summer. The Tennyson display at Somersby church is small, curious and informative. Horse riding increases in popularity in the area and bridlepaths are used as bridlepaths.
