Great walk to get over the Christmas and New Year festivities. On leaving Margate train station the instructions were exact and so easy to follow - great for an independent walker. Walking along the coastal path with easy focal points to look out for, I chose to go down the steps along the beach into Broadstairs which comes out into the harbour. For fans of Charles Dickens, Bleak House domineers the seafront and the Charles Dickens Museum is well worth a visit (from previous experience) although opens seasonally. Short walk to the train station and warm train ride home. Earmarked as one of my favourite 'local' walks.
