Easy walking. The only hill to climb is in Penarth. Quiet urban areas. Cardiff Bay development includes some stunning buildings as well as a small collection of well known coffee shops. The Norwegian Church is worth a visit. There is a stretch of path between somewhat depressing fences which seem to obscure the old industrial landscape but it opens up as you get towards the barrage. You can look down and appreciate the power of the water. Some interesting old buildings on the Penarth side and Penarth itself looks like a Victorian seaside town which is nice to explore. 4 star rating but it depends on what you want.
