A lovely walk but we got mixed up at the River Tud and Red Bridge and ended up on the Marriott's Way instead of the route we needed. Thank goodness for Sat Nav on iPhone, lol. Our trip ended up being 7.33 miles and, though unanticipated, was a lovely extra walk, taking us past Costessey Mill sluice and all the way along The Street. Would suggest going with a more detailed map than provided here to help identify key points.

I have now walked this route a few times as it is is so varied and enjoyable. Very close to where i live, i never thought i could find hills around here! But this is how it starts, in East Hills Wood. Although the route takes you around the left of the woods, you could also walk straight up the hill for a more "challenging" walk. In fact i was so surprised to find the hill that i went up and down a few times as you can find a few ascents and descents. The part of the walk near marriots way and the river is beautiful. Loved the other 2 smaller woods and hills, which i never knew they existed either. I have done the walk in the autumn and winter, and look forward to see what it looks like in the spring.
