Spring photo competition – ‘Great group walks'

Did you know our amazing Ramblers volunteers lead around 50,000 group walks every year? 

This season we want to see the best photos you’ve taken while walking with a group. 

Our favourite will win a pair of Keen Targhee Apex Low Shoes - providing comfort, support and traction on the trail, whatever the weather.

How to enter

Enter using our online entry form or send your photos with your name, address and contact details to: Your Shots, Walk magazine, the Ramblers, 13 Dirty Lane, London SE1 9PA by 27 March 2026. 

Entries may be used in Ramblers publicity.  

 

Terms and conditions 

The closing date is 27 March 2026. The sender of the judges’ favourite entry (one winner only), submitted on or before the closing date, will win the prize stated. 

Entry is open to residents of the UK except employees (and their families) of The Ramblers, its partners and agents, the suppliers of the prizes and any other companies associated with the competition. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition. Entrants may submit multiple photos, but must submit a separate entry form for each one.  

The entrant must be the creator and copyright owner of each photograph they submit. Photos may be digitally enhanced, but images generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence will be disqualified. Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or corrupted due to computer error in transit or failure of postal services.  

The prize is as stated, is not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The promoters reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition. In the event of a prize being unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.  

The winner and finalists agree to the use of their name, photograph and disclosure of county or city of residence and will co-operate with any other reasonable requests by The Ramblers relating to any post-winning publicity. By entering this competition and submitting a photograph, entrants are giving permission for The Ramblers to use it to promote the work of the charity in perpetuity.  

Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, or is unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the runner-up selected by the same judges.  

Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize.
