Meet at the car park by the Churchillian pub.
We start walking north (downhill), then west below Fort Widley, and back up to another car park. Cross a couple of roads - quite busy - take care - then west along the top of the hill giving good views of Portsmouth Harbour and Portchester Castle. We return walking east at a slightly lower level, below Fort Widley, and back to the start.
Much of the hill is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) due to its wildlife-rich chalk grassland and we should see a variety of wild flowers.
