Most of our members come from London Borough of Bexley. We also have many members from other London Boroughs and from Kent. We are a very friendly group and welcome people of all ages. Our group helps local people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. These are mostly in Kent, Surrey, and East Sussex but we also offer walks in London including outer boroughs.
We provide walks every Wednesday and some weekends, either half day or whole day walks. The whole day walks include a lunch break at the half way stage when we can socialise and enjoy refreshments in a pub or picnic. Short walks are up to 6 miles at an easy pace. Medium walks are up to 9 miles at a leisurely pace and Long walks are 10 to 14 miles at a moderate to faster pace.
You’re very welcome to try walking with us before joining. As a member, you have the opportunity to be involved in looking after paths, green spaces and opening up new places to explore. You can also join our Group Walking Holidays to destinations in this country and abroad, which are always very popular.
Walking with us is a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness. There’s nothing like being part of a walking group to encourage and motivate you to show up for walks regularly so why not come and join us!
