👣 Hike Description:
Prepare for a 5-6 hour trek through the Wye Valley, offering stunning river views and diverse terrain. Expect woodland trails, mild rock scrambling (nothing too daunting!), open fields, and dirt tracks. Don't miss the scenic descent down windy steps from the Eagles Nest viewpoint. Caution: no actual eagles! The hike concludes around 4:30pm, with options for post-hike refreshments at pubs in Tintern.
