Overview

Commemorating the first walk of Kingston Ramblers on Sunday 19th April 1964. Another anniversary walk is being held on Sunday 21st. From Dorking Station we walk to Meadowbank Park, town centre and follow Pipp Brook off and on using footpaths in fields and roads. Lunch at Westcott (pub). The afternoon walk heads on undulating footpaths behind Westcott to The Nower for a short but steep climb to The Temple with magnificent views over The Weald to the south and Ranmore, Box Hill and the North Downs. We complete our route through The Nower to make our way back to the station via footpaths and Meadowbank Park.
