Overview

This is a very rural walk away from the busier coast, exploring the lovely countryside around Mamhead and Ashcombe. Starting from the Haldon Obelisk with a spectacular view over the Exe estuary it continues on a mixture of quiet rural lanes, old paths and woodland tracks. There are some steep hills, but the views are a great reward for the effort.
