Overview

Walk from the pretty village of Ashford, starting at Sheepwash Bridge, via Churchdale Hall, Great Longstone and across Longstone Moor north to Wardlow.  Return through lovely Cressbrook Dale, with the possibility of seeing late cowslips and/ or early purple orchids.  Continue through Little Longstone and descend gradually from Monsal Head back to Ashford.  A good idea to allow some time to see the village well dressings.
