Overview

From Tring Station we ascend the wooded scarp slope into the Ashridge Beechwoods, walking through Copse Wood to the Visitor Centre for a short stop. (toilets). Then explore part of Ashridge Park, crossing the golf course towards Little Gaddesden for picnic lunch with visit to 'The Bridgewater Arms' Pub for drinks and toilets. Continue via Ringshall, exploring Crawley Wood and Dockey Wood, well known for their superb array of bluebells (if the time is right!). Then head south through the forest hopefully spotting patchworks of bluebells on either side as we return to the Visitor Centre for a tea stop. Lastly, the descent through scenic Albury village to cross the fields returns us to Tring Station.
