Overview

Setting off from the World Heritage site of Saltaire, we head up Shipley Glen and onto Baildon Moor. After visiting the trig point at the summit we progress down the far side of the moor across a golf course, then head southeast alongside a stream through woodland.

There will be a lunch stop in Baildon at the community garden before following Baildon Bank back to Saltaire. Potential refreshments to finish.

For anyone arriving by train, there is a 9:09 service from Leeds due to arrive at 9:27. The 9:13 from Bradford Forster Square connects to this at Shipley.

Anyone travelling through NW Leeds, please be aware of potential traffic issues due to the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon.
