Overview

This is another easy evening walk for those interested in a short leg-stretch to improve health, fitness and meet others. This is a less level route, on a midsummer evening, taking in the beautiful views around Cold Edge Dams and Wainstalls.

This route will encounter some moorland and farmland paths, and a couple of very short inclines. There are a couple of stiles. Please wear appropriate footwear and dress for the forecast conditions. This is a lovely walk offering excellent opportunities to see water birds and moorland specialists like curlews and lapwings so no dogs please.
