Join Glasgow Young Walkers for a walk on Beinn a' Bheithir via the Schoolhouse Ridge. As per Walkhighlands ‘This magnificent mountain ridgewalk takes in two Munros with truly outstanding views of mountain, sea and loch; a real Scottish classic. The ascent involves some easy scrambling up Schoolhouse Ridge.’
Previous scrambling experience is required

- Duration: 7 - 9 hours
- Terrain: Excellent walking on narrow grassy and rocky ridges higher up. Some scrambling on the ascent, and boggy going on the descent.
Getting there
By car: The starting point of the walk is around 2 hours and 15 minutes by car from the city centre of Glasgow.
Please note that number of attendees is limited to 8 people for this walk.
This is a strenuous hill walk which is suitable for walkers with a reasonable level of fitness and scrambling experience. Please wear suitable walking boots and bring your full waterproofs as well as plenty of layers with you. Please also make sure that have plenty of food and water ( minimum 2 litres) on you.
Please note that this walk will only go ahead in reasonable weather conditions. If the weather is not good enough an alternative walk will be offered.
