Overview

At a relaxed pace the walk ascends from Benfleet Station on to Benfleet Downs and descends passing Hadleigh Castle and Leigh on Sea. The return to Benfleet Station is along the Thames estuary.

Lunch: At Leigh on Sea the options are pub/ seafood cafe/ picnic. Toilets available.
