Meet ready for walk off at 07.00 a.m. at parking bays (free until 11.00am) a few yards before the Bailiwick public house on Wick Road, Englefield Green, Egham TW20 0HJ
Pre-booking required, by latest 7.30pm the day before, by calling, or texting, the walk leaders.
A beautiful early morning circular walk, of no more than six miles, at an easy pace in the managed woodland and valleys of Windsor Great Park. Hopefully we will hear the early morning calls of varied birdlife as well as see the colourful spring blossoms of the many flowers, shrubs and trees set in the same landscape. We will pause mid-way for a break at one of the mobile refreshment trucks that provide tea, coffee, rolls etc.., or you can bring your own. We will return to the cars just before 11.00am at which point the car parking charges start.
