Walk Cambridge is an active walking club and social group, aimed at working age people living in Cambridge and the surrounding area.

This walk will take in Cambourne and a small nature reserve, before heading out to the village of Bourne and on the way back to Cambourne stop off at the historic Bourne Windmill, currently being restored by Cambridge Past, Present and Future. This walk will head through a couple of farms where there may be horses close to the path. Hopefully we will see some spring flowers, including bluebells on our route.
Meet outside Just for Pets at Cambourne (3 Cambourne Retail Park Back Lane, Cambourne CB23 6FY) at 10:30 for start at 10:45 for a 9-mile walk.
For those travelling by public transport there is an x3 bus leaving at 10:05 from Drummer Street Bus Station that arrives at De La Warr Way at 10:28 which is a 3-minute walk from the meeting point.
If travelling by car, there are plenty of spaces at the retail park and parking is free.
There are toilets at Morrisons at the start of the walk and we will stop in Bourne for lunch.
Please bring lunch, snacks and plenty of water. If you intend to buy lunch at Morrisons or use the facilities before we set off, please arrive early as we will leave promptly at 10:45.
Walking boots and walking trousers are recommended. The weather is likely to be mild so please wear appropriate clothing.
