Overview

An easy 7 mile walk, with lovely views and big skies .

Good  bridleways, farm tracks and field edges, which may be muddy at times depending on weather conditions.

Start from car park in The Rancliffe Arms opposite the church of St Mary the Virgin, Bunny which is known as the Cathedral of the Wolds. The pub offers excellent food and will on this day  be putting on a varied lunch option including sandwiches and a carvery for £16 is directly opposite the church.

There are no toilets on route, but we head for the Sun Inn at Gotham, which may prove useful for some.

Lunch stop / coffee stop will be at Gotham church which is half way. We can offer coffee stops along the way as requested or needed.

When recced there were no animals in fields but this can change and dog owners must be aware at all times.

If you need to contact the walk leader on the day of the walk you can call  07867947790.

Please register for this walk on Newark Ramblers website where you will also find details of our car share scheme.
