A quiet leafy stretch of the Clyde Walkway with several bridges to cross. Mostly level with one short sharp incline. Starting at Cambuslang Railway Station we walk downhill to the Clyde and follow the river for a mile or so before leaving the riverbank and entering woodland. Returning eventually to the river close to Uddingston, Bothwell Castle appears above us - an ideal lunch spot. Our end point on the Walk Way is the David Livingstone Centre where there is a cafe and toilets.
If you wish to come on the walk you must contact the Leader in advance by email, text or phone call, but not more than two weeks in advance.
Please provide the Leader with a mobile phone number in case arrangements change.
