Overview

Not quite a figure of eight, from the car park to Captain Cook's Monument,  dropping down to  Mill Bank Wood, past Bankside Farm, back through the woods and past Oak Tree Farm. Across Great Ayton Moor to the Hanging Stone. Returning along the Cleveland Way, but with a circuitous detour to avoid the long flight of steps down to the car park, through the old quarry and a late iron age enclosure.
