We are a very active and friendly Ramblers group. Our programme explores the most attractive countryside in the surrounding area including the Surrey Hills.
Meet 10:15 at the free Staple Hill Car Park, Staple Hill, Chobham Common (GridRef SU973648, nearest postcode KT16 0ED) for a leisurely 7 mile walk on Chobham Common. There are two other car parks along that road. The Staple Hill Car Park is the middle one on the west side of the road. The other two are on the east.
DIY drinks stop in the morning. Lunch stop at Burrowhill. Bring your own food and drink or eat at the Four Horseshoes pub.

Update: The footpaths on Chobham Common are very muddy at the moment after all the recent rain, so I have changed the route slightly to use main footpaths wherever possible. Bring walking poles if you use them and wear good walking boots if you don't want to get your feet wet!
