Overview

This walk involves one steep uphill climb and one steep descent.

A 6.8 mile circular walk from Hassocks, after meeting outside The Hassocks Pub, Station Approach, on the East side of Hassocks Railway Station to take a path to the Church at Clayton. An opportunity to visit this church to see the wall paintings and to visit the grave of Norman Hartnell, Dressmaker to The Queen Mother, Elizabeth II and other members of the Royal Family. Walk beside Jack and Jill Windmills, walk  a part of the South Downs Way to Keymer Post to descend to Ditchling and a visit to Lodge Hill then on to Oldland Mill, Hassocks and the Railway Station.
