Overview

Leaving Corbridge, we walk east along the river before crossing the railway line and heading up to Prospect Hill (with its glorious views over the Tyne Valley).  We then follow a quiet country road to Temperley Grange before turning downhill through Snokoehill Plantation and returning to Corbridge.

The route keeps to riverside, field and woodland tracks, and quiet roads.  There are two steep climbs, one of which involves a long flight of steps and several stiles.  The section in Snokoehill Plantation is currently very muddy so be sure to bring suitable footwear!
