Overview

A very scenic walk taking in the summit of Crook Peak with spectacular views across to the channel and Weston-super-Mare. Descending to the village of Compton Bishop, we continue through to the pretty village of Axbridge. Please note a fairly steep ascent to the summit of Crook Peak.

Park in lay-by off the A371 Wells Road on the Axbridge bypass. Take the A38 south of Bristol and go through Churchill Gate. Continue for about 3 miles then take the A371 for Cheddar and Wells on the left. The lay-by is about half a mile on your right.
