Overview

We will walk from the car park to the Leeds-Liverpool canal and along to Feniscowles. Then across the recreation ground and on through woods and along the river Darwen to Hoghton Bottoms. Once again the route follows the river Darwen until we cross fields to Pleasington village and back through the playing fields to the car park.

Meet at - The free car park at Pleasington Playing Fields. From the Cherry Tree area turn off Preston Old Road (A674) into Tower Road BB2 5LE sign posted Crematorium. Pass houses, through gateposts, down the hill and as it levels out turn right to the carpark.
