Overview

A surprisingly flat walk through woods and commons with just two hills and 1,792ft of ascent over the whole day, making this an ideal long distance walk for those looking to increase their mileage.  Starting at the Devil's Punchbowl the walk follows the old A3 and the Greensand Way towards Thursley, then turning at Elstead towards Tilford and on to Frensham Little and Great Ponds.  Finally heading back to Hindhead Common via Kettlebury and Beacon Hills.  Some short sections of road walking.  Please ensure to bring lunch, sufficient drinks and snacks for a whole day walk as there are no facilities enroute.

This is a strenuous walk, please read the Mole Valley Walk Grades definition to ensure this walk is within you capability before joining.
