Five Churches Walk.

This walk starts at the National Trust Car Park in Ilam and visits the villages of Thorpe, Mapleton and Blore visiting five distinctive churches en-route.

The walk goes through a landscape filled with churches dating back to the Norman period and it reflects the changing times of the people and the land. All the churches are different and well worth a visit. The landscape they sit in is the real prize of this walk, with wonderful views at every turn.
