Overview

Linear Train Walk.

This is a walk from Edale station to Hope Station. The route ascends the Kinder Plateau via Ringing Roger then takes the edge path to Crookstone Hill; it then follows the old Roman Road along the ridge above the Woodlands Valley to ascend Win Hill before descending to Hope and the Railway Station.

The group will meet at 9:30 at Hope Railway Station. There is car parking at the station and it currently costs £3.00 for the day on a weekend. We will then catch the 9:39 train to Edale. There are refreshments and toilets available at Edale.
