Starting from the West Hanger car park, Staple Lane, East Clandon, much of this walk is through woodland with one quite steep ascent and very steep descent in Upper Weston Wood. We pass by a picturesque valley on the outward trail leading towards Effingham Forest, King's Hills and White Downs with the return leg generally flatter than the outward path through Netley Heath and Netley Park where participants will be in thrall to the scenery below the North Downs Way.
