Overview

Start   at car park, walk out to Irvine Road, Kilwinning, cross here then walk along side the River Garnock, under A78, to Garnock Floods. Walk along riverside path into Old Ardeer site. Follow paths through here, over Golf Course, then cycle path back to Eglinton Park. Option to get bus back to Kilwinning after Golf Course.

Path along river in Garnock Floods is narrow, muddy and if wet very slippy.

Path through wood also muddy in places
