Overview

This walk starts in the layby car park near Millington Church, St Margaret's.

Walking down the Balk, we head to Little Givendale Farm.

From here we proceed to Given Dale and head to the village of Great Givendale.

Walking to Grimthorpe Wood, our next call will be Ousethorpe and Mill farms, Ousethorpe Woods, and back to the cars at Millington.

This walk is hilly in parts, and we would advise you to carry at least two bottles of water if sunny and hot.

This walk offers walking in the valleys and hills of the Yorkshire Wolds and is considered a worthwhile ramble.

Dogs are welcome, but as always on short leads, please.

 

As always new walkers are welcome but please make yourselves known to the walk leaders before the walk.
