Overview

This walk includes walking in pastoral settings and experiencing a unique spring pond.It also gives us the opportunity to see Watton Abbey,and a recently renovated old barn giving an insight of what life was like centuries ago.

Our walk begins at Watton Layby. Heading towards the Abbey, we walk by Watton Abbey Farm.From here we proceed to a unique spring pond which has remarkable qualities.Walking by an old landing strip,we arrive at Burn Butt's Pits and onto Burn Butt's. Cawkeld is our next stop and from here go back to the cars.
