Overview

A delightful woodland and open field walk from Fernhurst.  The walk has a challenging, start due to the moderate ascent of approximately one mile, but it rewards us with great views, lovely woodlands and hopefully there wil be an abundance of bluebells and other woodland flora for us to admire.  After the morning refreshment break there is a moderately steep decent with loose stones.  We can also expect mud on parts of the walk.  We will be walking at a moderate pace, but the finish time reflects the ascent at the start of the walk and the time we will allow to appreciate the flora and fauna.
